In his debut as West Linn’s starting quarterback, junior Sloan Baker was electric with four touchdown passes as the Lions beat Hawaii’s Kamehameha 48-21 on Friday at West Linn High School.

“I think we played really well as a team. We’ve only had two weeks of practice, and they’ve already had two games,” Baker said. “I think our team as a (whole), we really trusted our coaches and played within ourselves. I think that really helped us.”
