New Bedford Science Café will host a discussion on quantum computing from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 9. The event will take place at The Last Round Bar & Grille, 908 Purchase St., New Bedford, and is open to the public. Admission is free, except for beverages, according to a community announcement.
The guest speaker will be David Kagan, Ph.D., an associate teaching professor in physics at UMass Dartmouth. Kagan will explore the topic “Quantum Computing: A Revolution That’s Sure to Teach Schrodinger's Cat New Tricks & Change the Shape of Industries.”
