In East Los Angeles, California, neighbors were caught off guard when they noticed a fluffy white figure peeking out from the narrow gap between two garages.

The little intruder refused to come into the open, vanishing each time the residents tried to get a better look.

When the curious locals finally checked the tight space, they were startled to find a tiny pup pressed between the concrete blocks, staring back with sad eyes.

The dog clearly needed help, but his fear of people kept him from stepping out.
