At her first appearance hearing held the morning of Aug. 17 at the Marion County Jail in front of Circuit Judge Timothy McCourt, a somber looking Amber Noelle Sacks was told she would be held without bail because she was on probation and the new crime was accused of committing — DUI manslaughter — was serious.

During that hearing, Sacks, 28, told the judge she's unemployed and receives child support.
