The Texas Tech football team takes the field today to open the 2025 season when the Red Raiders host the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions inside Jones AT&T Stadium.

The Red Raiders went 8-5 last season after falling to Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl while Pine Bluff, an FCS foe, was 3-9 overall in 2024 under head coach Alzono Hampton, who is in his third year leading the Golden Lions.
