It goes to show that even if initial viewership data appears strong in this modern streaming age, it may not be enough to secure a series expansion.

Although it struggled with critics, earning just a 68% on Rotten Tomatoes , it garnered more viewership than another new Netflix series, Ransom Canyon , in its first two weeks (16.6 million), but that still wasn't enough for Netflix to give the green light on a second season.
