CHICAGO (WLS) -- A death investigation is underway after the body of a man was pulled out of Lake Michigan on Saturday, police said.

Chicago police said the body was pulled at about 3 a.m. in the 200-block of N. Lakefront Trail at Monroe Harbor.

CFD pulled the man out of the water; he died at the scene.

No other information was available.

Chicago police did not say how the man died, or who found the body.

Chicago police are conducting a death investigation.
