The start of the Labor Day weekend will be one of the coolest temperatures ENC has seen in a few years. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s, with low humidity, and cooler overnight temperatures in the lower 60s and upper 50s. We could see a few showers today, but not a washout. Breezes pick up from the northeast, making things feel cooler at the start of September.

Northeast winds will start to diminish, and a southerly flow will take over as temperatures warm up to the mid-to-upper 80s, accompanied by increasing humidity, resulting in a muggy feel. With that comes a chance of a few showers/storms later in the week, but they will be scattered.

By the end of the week and into next weekend, a cold front will cool us off again.
