The penultimate episode of Dexter: Resurrection season 1 confirms the tragic fate of one of the OG returning characters from the original series. Many devout Dexter fans had speculated that there would be some type of showdown between Dexter and this character, which would ultimately result in the end of his life.

With only one episode left of Dexter: Resurrection season 1, a rage-fueled Dexter is set to go after the man who killed this franchise standout, Leon Prater. After Prater learned that Dexter wasn't who he said he was, the rideshare killer Ronald "Red" Schmidt, he became completely unpredictable and abruptly shot to the top of Dexter's kill list.
