OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Clouds are increasing this morning leading to rain chances moving east this afternoon into the evening. Rain chances gradually go up this afternoon and evening and will help keep us cooler in the 70s.

This leads us into more and more rain that is likely to develop overnight and stick with us a good portion of Sunday. Not exactly the Labor Day weekend many of us were hoping for. A few weak storms are possible too. Heavy rain is the main threat over the course of the entire weekend but hopefully we can spread it out enough to avoid any major issues.

Rain chances should gradually decrease Monday but another cloudy and rather cool day is likely for us all. Over the course of the next 72 hours the heaviest rain is likely to be near and west of the river. 1-3″ rain totals
