The Boston Red Sox are making quite the aggressive postseason push.

As they're looking to build their postseason roster in advance, the Red Sox recently opted to cut ties with offseason addition Walker Buehler. Buehler had struggled for the most part this season and will be forced to try to find a new deal in the coming days.

Matt Snyder of CBS Sports recently listed the Detroit Tigers as a landing spot for the recently released Red Sox hurler.

"The Tigers have lost Reese Olson and Jackson Jobe for the season, and Casey Mize has struggled for a while. Jack Flaherty has been worse," Snyder wrote. "Who is the No. 2 behind Tarik Skubal for the playoffs? Is it 41-year-old Charlie Morton? Or Chris Paddack? Or Flaherty or Mize?
