MOOSIC, P.A. (WSYR) -- After a win last night over first place Scranton Wilkes-Barre, the Syracuse Mets took another loss, 6-2 to the Railriders. The Railriders took the 1-0 lead in the third inning and added to it pushing ahead 4-0 after a three-run homer from Jose Rojas. Carson Benge was the only Met able to get the offense going, hitting a two-run homer in the seventh inning.

Syracuse continues its six-game series with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday night. Right-hander Brandon Sproat is scheduled to pitch for the Mets with right-hander Brendan Beck slated to go for the RailRiders. First pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
