Mike Peck firmly believes championships are won in the offseason.

As he enters his second season as head coach at Mark Morris, Peck was able to enjoy his full offseason with the Monarchs.

And Peck also knows that success starts up front.

The Monarchs return all five starting offensive linemen from a 4-6 squad the reached the postseason in 2024.

“They were really young and inexperienced, and they got battle-tested last year,” Peck said. “They had an incredible offseason. They’ve been in the weight room every single day. They’ve emerged as our strongest kids, kind of leaders of our team. They set the tone for everything we do.”

The returning starters are juniors Dalton Stevens and Naythen Linden and seniors Camren Lair, Jacob Trotter and Brendan Brown.
