NEW ORLEANS — is an annual festival in New Orleans that began in 1972. It is centered in the French Quarter and is widely recognized as one of the city’s largest LGBTQ+ celebrations. The multi-day event, often compared to a “gay Mardi Gras,” features parades, drag performances, live music, street parties, and themed events.

It traditionally takes place over Labor Day weekend and draws tens of thousands of visitors to the city, providing a major boost to the local economy and French Quarter businesses.
