The "worst actors" from comedy show The Producers are coming to Leicestershire . The much-loved production is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and promises to reach the milestone in style.

The show will be put on at the Loughborough Town Hall by the ESNA theatre group, originally known as The Emmanuel, Shelthorpe and Nanpantan Amateurs. With a "stunning score" and a "hilarious script" the musical comedy will feature music and lyrics by American filmmaker and actor Mel Brooks.

The story was presented in a book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan, with the theatre show adapted from Brooks’ 1967 film of the same name.
