NORFOLK, Va. — The largest lottery jackpot ever won in Virginia has been claimed, and the winner already has one unusual purchase in mind: a zero-radius riding lawn mower.

The $348 million Mega Millions jackpot from the June 27 drawing was claimed about four weeks later at Virginia Lottery headquarters in Richmond.

This marks the 10th Mega Millions jackpot won in Virginia since the game launched in 2002.

The ticket, sold at E & C Mid Atlantic on Northumberland Highway in Burgess, matched all six winning numbers. The store that sold the winning ticket received a $50,000 bonus, which was presented to E & C Mid Atlantic Vice President of Operations Juan Torres on July 22.
