SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - U.S. Marshals arrested a man wanted for a deadly shooting at an Akron gas station last month.

According to the release, early Saturday morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested 41-year-old Demario McCall.

McCall was wanted by the Akron Police for murder, having weapons while under disability and carrying concealed weapons.

McCall is accused of fatally shooting 26-year-old Ar’Mon Covington on July 6 at around 4:14 a.m.

Police said McCall was harassing a woman at the BP gas station at 778 Grant Street when Covington tried to intervene.
