Police have launched an investigation after the child was found seriously injured at a park in Winsford, near Manchester, UK, after falling from a piece of playground equipment Wharton Recreation Ground in Winsford where the 12-year-old boy died.

A police probe has been initiated following the tragic death of a 12 year old boy in a park, who is thought to have fallen from playground equipment. The authorities were alerted just before 6.15pm on Friday, August 30, after paramedics from North West Ambulance Service responded to an incident at Wharton Recreation Ground in Winsford, Cheshire. ‌
