Motherwell were again denied a first Premiership win of the season as Kilmarnock hit back to take a point from Fir Park, with goalkeeper Calum Ward dropping the ball at George Stanger's feet.
Goals from Tawanda Maswanhise and Emmanuel Longelo cancelled out Djanairo Daniels' early opener for Kilmarnock.
But Stanger was allowed to tap the ball into the net in 81 minutes, after Ward dropped Lewis Mayo's high ball.
Daniels survived a VAR check for violent conduct moments before giving Kilmarnock the lead in 19 minutes, tapping into the net after Brad Lyons' cross wasn't cleared.
That was cancelled out in first-half stoppage time by Tawanda Maswanhise inside first-half stoppage time, latching onto Ibrahim Said's blocked shot to fire high into the net.
