Calhoun Falls came out on top in a 28-22 nail-biter for the team's first win of the season.
The Blue Flashes battled back and forth all night with the Georgia School for Innovation and Classics, but came out on top thanks to a strong performance by their quarterback, Preston Thomas-Smalls, who was responsible for two passing touchdowns and one on the ground.
Coach Zak Theus was happy with the team effort.
“Every kid we had touched the field, and made a difference,” Theus said after the win.
