CUPCAKES are usually a crowd-pleaser at birthday parties, but one teacher doesn't want to see them in her classroom.
She insisted that there are better — and less messy — treats for children to bring to school instead.
TikToker and teacher Ann Brackemyer ( @kbcrayons ) detailed the dos and don'ts of kids' birthday treats in a viral video .
"Let's talk birthdays in the classroom," she said. "These are some great options for birthday treats."
She also offered up some general advice when it comes to birthday goodies.
"Keep it simple," she said.
