A Hamilton County man faces multiple charges after altering numerous checks elderly women gave him for mowing their lawn.
Back in June, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Orchard Valley Road in Chattanooga in reference to forged checks, according to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News.
A family member who is the Power of Attorney of one now-deceased victim and holds a joint checking account with her, reported that last July, the 93-year-old victim hired Ernest Verlane Ginn, 51, to mow the lawn.
According to what appears to be his LinkedIn profile and Facebook page , the suspect operates "Sincerely Your’s Lawncare" in Chattanooga.
