BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Comic Arts Festival (BCAF) returns this weekend for its 13th year, Saturday and Sunday, at the Boise Centre, offering free entertainment for comic book fans and newcomers alike.

The two-day event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at 850 W. Front St.

"BCAF is a celebration of all things comic arts, bringing together a diverse lineup of renowned comic book artists, illustrators, writers and publishers," said Josh Shapel, Boise Public Library events coordinator. "Attendees can participate in hands-on workshops, cosplay contests and parades, artist panels and Artist's Alley, which is a showcase of more than 100 guest creators, vendors and exhibitors."
