Teen arrested in March shooting on Washington Place in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC — A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with a daytime shooting that injured a man on Washington Place in Northeast earlier this year, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The shooting occurred on March 4 at approximately 1:10 p.m. in the 2300 block of Washington Place. Officers from the Fifth District responded to the scene and found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was conscious and breathing and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His injuries were later classified as non-life-threatening.
