THUNDER BAY city councillors will take an eighth crack at finding a place to build a homeless village Monday, and a second crack at developing criteria for 10 tent encampments for those who won’t fit into the 80 village cabins.
But let’s not go down that road until they make up their minds – if they can ever manage to do so.
Instead, let’s consider the fate of the snazzy new art gallery going up on the waterfront. The project was saved from winter’s furies by a unanimous vote of council this week to release the $5 million it promised the project way back when it was first proposed.
