NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Homicide detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are investigating Friday night’s apparent fatal shooting.

Police said 25-year-old Ever Domingo Mazariegos was shot in a parking lot at 1010 Thompson Place.

Officers responded to the scene just after 8:20 p.m. to a report of shots being fired in the area, but when they arrived, they did not find any victims.

Police later learned that Domingo Mazariegoz was taken by a private vehicle to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He was then taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

According to police, the shooting happened in the parking lot of building F.
