ST. LOUIS — A man has died four years after being shot in the neck, prompting police to open a homicide investigation into the 2021 shooting.
In June, 36-year-old Terrance Keely died at a hospital. An autopsy conducted by the St. Louis medical examiner concluded Wednesday that his death was the result of complications from the gunshot wound, and homicide detectives took over the investigation the next day.
Keely was shot shortly before noon on Sept. 13, 2021 in the 5300 block of West Florissant, near Calvary Cemetery in the Mark Twain neighborhood.
Keely was sitting in a parked vehicle when a man in a Mercedes pulled up alongside him and shot him. Police did not release any information on any suspects.
