A healthcare worker has told how she and her family were racially abused and assaulted in a park — with shocking footage of the incident now widely shared on social media.
Apple Moorhouse, who has worked for the NHS for 15 years, was walking through Manor Heath Park in Halifax with her dad and six-year-old daughter when an elderly couple’s dog frightened the young girl.
Apple said she confronted the man, telling him the dog should not be off the lead if he couldn’t control it.
