Ana Burilovic enjoyed a standout all-around performance and the Buffaloes battled to a win in the second match of the season-opening Rumble in the Rockies, sweeping Tulsa 25-21, 25-16, 25-23 on Saturday at Wyoming’s Arena-Auditorium.

The Buffs improved to 2-0 after sweeping Cleveland State in the opener on Friday.

The opening set against Tulsa was tied 18-18 before CU scored four of the next five points, outscoring the Golden Hurricanes 7-3 the rest of the way. The Buffs never trailed in set two following an early 6-1 run, but CU once again had to survive a tight finish in the third.
