ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WILX) - The Michigan Wolverines begin their season at the Big House against New Mexico on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NBC.

Michigan is coming off a somewhat disappointing 8-5 season following the Wolverines’ national championship the year prior. Head coach Sherrone Moore is hoping to bring Michigan back to the College Football Playoffs in his second season.

Inconsistent quarterback play held the Wolverines back last year, but Michigan believes it has found the solution in five-star true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Underwood makes his debut tonight at 7:30 p.m. on WILX.
