Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija continues to make waves in FIBA’s EuroBasket tournament. The leader of Team Israel scored 23 points with 9 rebounds and 5 assists but his squad still fell to tournament co-hosts Poland 66-64.

Poland and France stand at 2-0 in the tournament, the only undefeated teams in Group D. Israel now holds a 1-1 record.

EuroBasket 2025 Group Phase runs from August 27 through September 5. The Final Phase will be held in Riga, Latvia from September 6 through September 14.
