NORTON — Miranda Wang came into the FM Championship wanting to keep up with the best.

The LPGA rookie has done more than that.

Wang stands alone as the leader after Round 3 of the FM Championship at TPC Boston. She finished Saturday 7-under, putting her at 18-under for the tournament.

But if Wang was told on Thursday that she’d be the tournaments leader after three rounds, she’d believe it.

“My game is playing pretty well,” Wang said after the third round.

“I did a good job today. I really want to give myself some credit,” she added. “This is where all the players want to be, so it’s definitely special going into the final round being the sole leader.”

She had seven birdies on the afternoon.
