Arch-rival Cavalry FC halted the incredible 20-game unbeaten run on the 2025 Canadian Premier League campaign, with the 4-1 dominance signalling the Calgary side’s not done yet in a bid for two titles on the season.
“It’s a good feeling,” said Cavalry star midfielder Sergio Camargo, one of three strikers on the day for the host squad. “We wanted to show that we feel that we’ve been one of the best teams this whole year.
“Just bounces haven’t gone our way, and (Saturday), they finally did. And it kind of shows the whole league that we can beat anyone on any day, as long as we have belief on our side.”
