HARRIMAN, Tenn. (WVLT) - An 18-year-old man is dead after a shooting at a party in Harriman, said Russel Johnson, the 9th District attorney general.

At around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, Harriman Police were called to the Mr. Clean business location in Harriman where 18-year-old Holden Howse had been shot in the head at a party, Johnson said in a news release.

Howse was transported to UT Medical Center where later died, according to Johnson.

Later that morning, Harriman police pulled over a speeding vehicle with two individuals from the party, and one of them, a 17-year-old male, was suspected to be the shooter, said Johnson.

Johnson says the suspect is also accused of attacking another victim by hitting him with the gun that was used in the shooting.
