TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Arizona Wildcats easily rolled to a 40-6 victory Saturday night to start the season.
The Wildcats were led by quarterback Noah Fifita, who led the offense with 161 passing yards with a passing touchdown. He also ran for a touchdown.
Arizona’s defense prevented Hawaii from getting anything going offensively and knocking Hawaii’s quarterback, Micah Alejado, out of the game in the second half with an injury.
Arizona next takes on Weber State September 6 at Arizona Stadium.
