As the start of September nears and the summer holidays wind to a close, details have been confirmed on many of the major roadworks schemes impacting Kent’s busiest routes during the coming month. Over the next four weeks, various projects will be taking place, from resurfacing works to drainage improvements and important maintenance.

A number of major routes will be impacted as a result including the county’s motorways and vital A-roads. Improvement works continue at the A249 Grovehurst junction, with the scheme having been extended once again and the project now aimed to be completed by the end of 2025.
