BBC Breakfast took a heart-wrenching turn on Sunday when presenter Roger Johnson shared that a close acquaintance had been given just three months to live.
During the programme, Roger and co-host Rachel Burden took a moment to discuss guest Warwick Smith, who has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
Despite an initial prognosis of six months, Warwick has now been informed he only has three months left.
However, in spite of his grim diagnosis, Warwick remains determined to achieve his goal.
Rachel introduced the segment by stating, "Back in 2022, Warwick Smith was told he had throat cancer and was given six months to live. Now, since then, he's raised almost £70,000 for cancer charities," as reported by the Express, reports the Mirror .
