The college football team deleted a post mocking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce 's engagement after facing backlash.

In a since-deleted post shared to X after the University of Nebraska squad defeated Kelce's alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, in an Aug. 28 face-off attended by the NFL star and his fiancée , the couple's engagement photo was altered to the team's mascot Herbie Husker, now depicting the Grammy winner embracing him in an almost-kiss with her hand on his face.

Alongside the altered image, the Nebraska Huskers wrote, "Change of plans."
