Thousands of people marched to WA’s Parliament House as part of a national anti-immigration rally movement on Sunday.

WA Police put the crowd at around 10,000 people, with few incidents reported despite tensions between the crowd and a smaller counter-protest organised in response.

Counter-protesters chanted “Nazi scum off our streets” and there were heated exchanges as the anti-immigration crowd gathered in Perth’s Supreme Court gardens at 1pm.

However, police reported few issues as the rally moved up St Georges Terrace to gather at parliament, where the crowd was addressed by speakers including One Nation MLC Rod Caddies.
