Nashville police say 25-year-old resident Ever Domingo Mazariegos died in a targeted fatal shooting on Aug. 29 at 1010 Thompson Place.

Metro Nashville Police Department said in an Aug. 30 news release that homicide detectives are looking for suspects after Domingo Mazariegos died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A private vehicle had taken him to General Hospital before he was transported to Vanderbilt.

Police had responded to shots fired at about 8:20 p.m. but didn’t find any victims at the scene.
