Bob Downey Plumbing focuses on helping customers and needy animals

As the owner of Bob Downey Plumbing, Bob and his wife, Elizabeth, make a monthly donation to Rebel Dogs Detroit to make a difference in the lives of animals.

The couple also sponsors two animals every month from the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society.

Elizabeth is an animal advocate and volunteer at Detroit Animal Care and Control. “We feel that we are making a big impact on animal welfare,” she said. Elizabeth has a deep passion for animals. As a DACC volunteer, Elizabeth would bring dogs to one of her offices every Friday so they could decompress.
