Three people have been arrested after campaigners faced off in a protest outside a migrant hotel in Falkirk .

The group Save Our Future and Our Kids Futures returned to the Cladhan Hotel on Saturday, where they held a similar protest two weeks ago. The group were met by a counter-demonstration organised by Stand Up to Racism (SUTR) and the Scottish Trade Union Congress (STUC).

Police have now confirmed that a 54-year-old man was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant. Another man was arrested in connection with breach of the peace and released without charge

And following enquiries by officers, a 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an offensive banner displayed during the first protest activity in the area on Saturday, August 16.
