TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Dry air is going to help lower rain chances for some of your extended forecast

Improvements for Sunday:

Yesterday’s front that brought rain to the area yesterday has slid south into the northern Gulf. This is allowing dry air to return to the area, so I expect only limited showers this afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 80s with low humidity.

Labor Day Sun:

The front will stay south of the area on Monday, keeping the mainly dry weather around for North Florida and South Georgia. Good weather to fire up the grill or to be outdoors. Highs in the upper 80s and the low humidity sticks around.

The rest of the week:

The only hiccup in the forecast is another low developing in the north Gulf around midweek. This could bring some slightly higher rain chances on
