After much anticipation, Fox and Google reached a deal to keep the former's content on YouTube TV.

Fox and Google , YouTube's parent company, announced a renewal of all of Fox 's networks, including Fox News and Fox Sports, on YouTube TV on Thursday, Aug. 28, according to a Fox news release . Financial terms of the agreement were not shared.

Google announced on Aug. 25 that if the two companies didn't strike a new contract deal by Wednesday, Aug. 27, all of Fox's content would become unavailable on YouTube TV. Wednesday evening, the two companies announced a "short-term extension" to further discuss a new agreement.

Both companies argued that the other was interested in raising payments that could ultimately affect consumers.
