The Hamilton Township Municipal Utilities Authority has advised residents to boil their water in the aftermath of a low-pressure incident.

The MUA also said it was was giving away 2,500 cases of bottled water to its customers beginning Sunday morning.

On Saturday, the authority issued a statement that read in part: “A portion of our the HTMUA's water system experienced a low pressure. The issue was resolved quickly. Out of an abundance of caution, we are recommending customersfollow the instructions below.

A potential or actual threat to the quality of water being provided to you currently exists As a precaution, we are implementing a limited Boil Water Advisory until testing of the water supph is deemed satisfactory.”
