Alone in their Las Vegas apartment, she found herself dismissing her own needs while simply “trying to survive that pain.”

Studer credits Meals on Wheels, which provides food to seniors nationwide, as her savior.

While the service assists her in following her doctor’s recommendation to reduce her sodium intake, deliveries also offer an opportunity to socialize. Her driver, Tyler, is “so special,” Studer said.
