BBC Breakfast took a heart-wrenching turn on Sunday when presenter Roger Johnson shared that a former guest had been given just three months left to live. ‌

During the programme, Roger and co-host Rachel Burden took a moment to discuss Warwick Smith, a previous guest on BBC Breakfast who had been diagnosed with throat cancer. ‌

Initially given six months to live, Warwick has now been informed he has only three months left. Despite his sad diagnosis which was reported by the Mirror , Warwick remains determined not to let his illness stop him from achieving his goal. ‌

Rachel introduced the segment by stating, "Back in 2022, Warwick Smith was told he had throat cancer and was given six months to live. Now, since then, he's raised almost £70,000 for cancer charities
