HOUSTON (KIAH) — A teenage boy was shot and killed, while another person was injured at a party in east Houston late Saturday night, deputies said.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy at the 14700 block of Waldine Street. A large party was taking place at the residence, deputies said.

A second person, an 18-year-old man, was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle with a minor gunshot wound. Deputies did not disclose his condition.

No suspects have been identified in the shooting.
