Residents of a Glasgow east end care home had rootin’ tootin’ fun as they enjoyed a “hoedown”.
The men and women of Haydale Care Home in Tollcross were joined by friends and family on Friday night (August 29) for the first “Haydale Hoedown”, complete with live music , line dancing, and plenty of “yee haws”.
Live music came from Glasgow singer Colin McInally, whose renditions of legendary tunes by the likes of Willie Nelson had the crowd clapping and singing along.
The venue was transformed into a rustic barn dance, with themed decorations, and plenty of cowboy hats.
Families, friends and a local community yoga group embraced the spirit, dressing up in denim, boots, and Stetsons to celebrate in true country style.
