The Milwaukee Bucks are keeping things in the family.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo signed a one-year, $2.9 million contract to join brother Giannis with the Central Division club, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Sunday.
The contract means Giannis — who has been the subject of trade rumours throughout the off-season — will also remain in Milwaukee, Charania said.
Thanasis, 33, was with the Bucks from 2019 to 2024, playing 196 games with the club after appearing in two contests for the New York Knicks during the 2015-16 season.
For his career, Thanasis averages 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 4.6 minutes per game.
He missed last season while recovering from a torn Achilles.
